tube.tracker is an electronic specimen management system designed to assist laboratory professionals in storing, searching, tracking, and disposing of specimens. It is capable of supporting many users in multiple sites using any number of storage locations. It runs on any standard internet browser and is accessible by virtually any networked computer with no software installation required.

tube.tracker identifies and stores specimens by using the existing information contained on the specimen barcodes generated by an LIS or automated instrumentation. It is also capable of tracking aliquots, split specimens, or multiple specimens with the same identifier. tube.tracker maintains a detailed audit log of all events for a specimen, allowing users to see a comprehensive list of activity long after a specimen has been discarded.
